Nominations for the Class of 2026 40 Under 40 are now closed.
2026 Eligibility and Selection Criteria
In order to be eligible, nominees must meet the following criteria:
- Earned an undergraduate or graduate degree from UGA.
- Is under the age of 40 as of September 1, 2026.
- Is willing to submit a headshot that can be published by units within the University of Georgia.
- Aspires to uphold the principles manifested in the three Pillars of the Arch.
- Demonstrates a commitment to maintaining a lifelong relationship with UGA.
- Has made an impact in their professional and/or philanthropic endeavors.
Self-Nominations are not accepted
Important Dates
February 1, 2026: Nominations open
February 28, 2026: Nominations close. Nominees will be contacted to submit an application soon after.
March 31, 2026: Applications Due
Mid-July 2026: 40 Under 40 Class of 2026 announced
September 2026: 40 Under 40 Awards Luncheon in Athens, Georgia
40 Under 40 celebrates young alumni leading the pack in their industries and communities.
