As you read about our tours, check the "send info" boxes for any tour that you'd like to learn more about. Complete the form at the bottom of this page and submit it, and we'll mail your information three to six months before the tour date. Unless specified, prices are per person, double occupancy from Atlanta.

 

Excursion Exertion Code: Each journey is categorized by a "Four Paw Scale" that denotes how physically strenuous you can anticipate the tour being.

- Remain in one location for the entire trip - no changing of sleeping accommodations. Approximately two to three hours a day of easy walking.

- Travelers change hotels frequently. There will be four or more hours of relatively easy walking a day.

- Considerable walking uphill, on uneven or on cobblestone streets. You should be in good physical condition to enjoy this trip to the fullest.

- Anticipate hiking and other strenuous activity on a daily basis. You should be in very good physical condition to enjoy this trip to the fullest.

Ireland - Ennis and Kilkenny
Set on Europe's outskirts against the waves of the Atlantic Ocean is a rare land - the legendary Emerald Isle. Begin in Ennis, County Clare, and travel to the ancient Burren and windswept Cliffs of Moher. Appreciate the country's epic literary heritage at Coole Park in County Galway, with its beech tree bearing W.B. Yeats' initials and the 16th-century tower of Thoor Ballylee where he resided. Cruise to the Aran Island of Inishmore and marvel at the cliff-side fortress of Dún Aengus. See the limestone Rock of Cashel in County Tipperary before touring the highlights of Kilkenny, including Kilkenny Castle and Bród Tullaroan. Visit the Irish National Heritage Park in County Wexford, the Waterford Crystal Visitor Center, Jerpoint Abbey and the famous Dunbrody Famine Ship. View a brochure.

Sardinia and Corsica with Rome
The Mediterranean islands of Sardinia, Italy, and Corsica, France, harbor an independent mystique, each maintaining rich cultural traditions and a distinct native language. Begin near Alghero, Sardinia, visiting the breathtaking caves and promontories at Capo Caccia before walking the town. Travel the beautiful countryside to quaint Bosa, and explore the impressive Doria Castle at Castelsardo. On the Tyrrhenian coast, admire Costa Smeralda, and board a ferry to Bonifacio, Corsica. After touring the town, cruise Corsica's eastern coastline, discovering craggy cliffs and grottoes, including the Grotte du Sdragonatu. Continue to Ospedale, in the famous Parc Naturel Régional de Corse, and picturesque Porto Vecchio.
