Kinsale, Ireland - Life Member Tour
Kinsale is a picturesque harbor town made up of crooked streets, bow-fronted shops and slate-hung houses. The gourmet capital of Ireland - some of its best restaurants comprise the Good Food Circle. Visit the famed Bantry House. See the Italianate Gardens on Garinish Island. Journey to Cork. Kiss the Blarney Stone and visit fabled Blarney Castle and see the town of Cobh, where its Heritage Center depicts the Queenstown Story of Irish emigration. Visit the twisting roads of the famous Ring of Kerry. Your home during your stay is the Actons Hotel. Hosted by former UGA Alumni Association President Carlton Curtis '72 and wife Jan '77.

Cortona, Italy
The village of Cortona serves as your campus site in Tuscany. Journey to tiny Montepulciano, in the heart of Chiana Country. Marvel at two Umbrian jewels - the walled city of Perugia, the ancient Etruscan city-state whose Piazza IV Novembre is one of Italy's most splendid squares; and medieval Assisi, home to the exquisite St. Francis Basilica. In Siena, enjoy magnificent cathedrals and Gothic buildings. Admire the splendor of Florence, the nurturing Cradle of the Renaissance, where samples of Italy's artistic genius abound. You'll have a chance to visit UGA's study abroad program and interact with students and faculty. Hosted by UGA Interim Sports Promotion Director Dave Muia '74.
