| Schedule | What will be open | 6 p.m. - gates open for UGA Night at Six Flags ticket holders only. See special UGA guest Hairy Dawg! Midnight - gates close. Bulldogs head home after an evening of Six Flags fun! | At least 70 percent of the theme park will be open including Superman, Georgia Cyclone, Georgia Scorcher, Batman, Acrophobia, Deja Vu, Goliath, Bumper Cars, and Game areas! Additional sections will be open as more Bulldogs buy tickets! If 5,000 people or more purchase tickets, the entire park opens. It will be just like a normal operating day at Six Flags but with out all the lines! | | Who can come | Parking | Anyone tied to the UGA family in some way is welcome to come to the event. Whether you are a current student, faculty member, staff or alum we would love to have you at the event. Feel free to bring friends and family, and we encourage everyone to wear red and black UGA attire so we can redecorate the park in red and black! | Parking is free for the event. Attendees will park in the main Six Flags Over Georgia parking area and will use the main entrance. | | Alcohol | Cancellation | Please help keep the night a safe one for all members of the UGA community. Alcohol will not be permitted on the premises and persons visibly intoxicated will be denied admission without refund. | In the unlikely event that UGA Night at Six Flags must be cancelled, all participants will be notified by e-mail at least 24 hours before the event. Because UGA Night at Six Flags is a private event, all guests will need to purchase a ticket. Unfortunately, season passes will not be accepted for admission. Do I need to purchase tickets ahead of time? Tickets are always available! You can order tickets at the Tate Student Center Cashier's Window: (706) 542-8074, or you can buy tickets at the gate on Friday night! How many tickets may I purchase? As many as you would like! Where do I purchase tickets? You call the Tate Student Center Cashier's Window: (706) 542-8074, or you can order you tickets online. I live in Atlanta. How will I get my tickets? Student Activities will be happy to hold purchased tickets at the Will Call Window at Six Flags, so pre-purchased tickets can be picked up the evening of the event. Will non-UGA grads be allowed to attend? Of course! Though invitations have only been sent to UGA grads and Alumni Association members, we encourage friends and family to attend. Do I need to show a UGA ID to purchase tickets? No! This event is open to the UGA Community, family and friends. NO ID of any kind needed to purchase tickets. I want to bring our young children. Is this event appropriate for them? Yes! We planned UGA Night at Six Flags with our UGA families in mind! I have a 2 year old. Do we need to purchase a ticket for her? No! Children 2 and under are admitted for free. | | On-Site Promotions | The night of the event, Six Flags will have a special UGA look including front entrance banners and UGA flags on lampposts! The Six Flags TV and P.A. systems will help create a atmosphere of bulldog revelry. The UGA Alumni Association will have special giveaways, contests and guests that will be noted at the front entrance. Merchandise vendors are also welcome to promote their products. Six Flags Policies DRESS CODE Shirts and shoes must be worn at all times in the park. Guests wearing articles of clothing containing obsenity or profanity will be asked to remove the clothing. RADIOS No radios or tape players are allowed. FOOD AND BEVERAGES No bottled beverages, foodstuffs or personal coolers may be brought into the park. ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES Alcoholic beverages are not sold in the park and are not allowed on park property. SMOKING Smoking is prohibited except in designated smoking areas. LINE JUMPING Line jumping is strictly prohibited. Guests are not permitted to save places in line or exit the line and return for any reason. RIDE RESTRICTIONS Guests with certain body proportions involving height and/or weight may be denied the opportunity to ride attractions where safety restraints will not operate as designed. Please ask a ride attendant before waiting in line if you have any questions.
