UGA Alumni Association Reunion Weekend Class of 1955 50th Reunion
Retired Marine General Richard Trotter '55 of San Diego, CA, president of the Class of 1955, returned to campus April 29-May 1 to lead attendees in a 50th anniversary celebration.
The weekend started out with an outdoor cocktail reception on Friday night with over 30 classmates enjoying the wonderful spring evening.
On Saturday, alums had tours of UGA's new Student Learning Center, the Ramsey Center and East Campus. Class members enjoyed lunch in the Summit Dinning Hall at the Commons and were treated to a special tour of the home of C.L. Morehead, Jr. '50 and his collection of artist Lamar Dodd's works.
The weekend was highlighted with the annual reunion dinner held at the Georgia Center's Savannah Room. Class members also received a special golden 50th Reunion medallion.
