MULTICULTURAL ALUMNI CONFERENCE The Multicultural Alumni Conference is a very special event. Often drawing participants who haven't been to campus in over 20 years, the conference brings back a lot of memories and emotions. It includes a tour of campus and a special welcome reception. Alums participate in relevant seminars, group discussions and Bulldog camaraderie. Held every other year, the conference focuses on various issues ranging from professional development to UGA involvement. Often it is combined with the reunion of a minority student organization. The next conference is scheduled for March of 2008. See photos.
MULTICULTURAL PROGRAMS GAME WATCHING PARTY Over 100 enthusiastic fans cheer on the Dawgs at annual private viewing events at venues such as Dave AND Busters and Fox Sports Grill. Participants have the opportunity to win exciting door prizes including autographed UGA memorabilia, GA/FL tickets and much more! See photos.
TGIF MIXERS These multicultural gatherings continue to be a hit with alumni of all ages. Held throughout the year in the heart of Buckhead at the Atlanta Alumni Center and more recently planned for Athens area venues, these gatherings allow alums to relax and unwind in a comfortable environment after a long week of work and meetings. Everyone enjoys food and social interaction with fellow Bulldogs while developing valuable business contacts and professional resources. Recent TGIF Mixers have expanded to include joint socials with minority alumni from other universities and are held at different locations around Atlanta. See photos.
