Eddie Carneiro '99

MANAGER

Eddie joined the firm in January 2007 and is a member of the Growth and Profit Solutions Niche (GPS).

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

Prior to joining GH&I, Eddie was with The Home Depot in the Business Leadership Program where he conducted cost/benefit analyses and assisted in developing the bath department's strate-gic and operating resource plan. The Business Leadership Program is a two-year, cross functional leadership development program where Eddie was one of only 30 chosen from over 4,000 applicants. Prior to being with The Home Depot, Eddie did strategic planning and business development for Latin America's largest steel company, Gerdau S.A., in Porto Alegre, Brazil. There he headed international mergers and acquisition projects in various countries, including the United States, Canada, Argentina, and Colombia.

AFFILIATIONS

Eddie is a member of the National Society of Hispanic MBA where he is on the membership committee. Additionally, Eddie is a member of the Theta Chi fraternity and the alumni association of the University of Miami and the University of Georgia.

EDUCATION

Eddie graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelors of Business Administration in International Business and a minor in Spanish. Additonally, he obtained a Masters of Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and International Business from the University of Miami. Eddie received the Emery Means Findley Fellowship, an academic scholarship, and was a two-time finalist in the Leigh Rothchild Entrepreneurship Competition while at the University of Miami.

BEYOND THE OFFICE

Eddie is fluent in both Portuguese and Spanish and is a member of the ALTA tennis community. He enjoys playing soccer in various leagues around Atlanta and spending time with his family.
