The UGA Alumni Association's 40 Under 40 recognizes those who are leading the way in business, leadership, community, educational and/or philanthropic endeavors. The forty will be chosen by a selection committee based on specific requirements and criteria. To find out more click here.

Alumni Day Block Seating

From time to time, the Alumni Association is able to offer a limited number of tickets to select athletic events, including football, basketball, gymnastics, and more.

During this exclusive alumni appreciation event, alumni receive a discount towards clothing, gifts, and general reading books.

Bulldog Breakfast Club

The UGA Alumni Association's Bulldog Breakfast Club offers alumni a comfortable, relaxed forum in which to exchange ideas, discuss topics of interest and network with distinguished UGA leaders, alumni and friends. Seating will be limited to 10 alumni per session and guests are encouraged to bring business cards. Join us in fostering an environment of Bulldogs helping Bulldogs.

Bulldogs After Business Hours

Mingle with fellow UGA Alumni after a hard day at work! This is a great opportunity to meet fellow Bulldogs in your area and to get involved with your area chapter.

Hundreds of alumni and friends come together on an early spring morning for the Athens Area’s largest 5k. The course starts at Stegeman Coliseum beside the Rankin Smith Athletic Academic Center and ends in the Coliseum parking lot near the Carlton Street parking deck.  For more information please click here.

Educator Appreciation

Through visits to area schools, the Education Appreciation Program shows appreciation for UGA alumni who are contributing to our children's futures through their careers in K-12 education. Faculty & Staff Authors Reception

Sponsored by the UGA Bookstore and UGA Alumni Association, this event provides you with the opportunity to meet University faculty and staff who have published a book within the past 24 months. Books authored by our own faculty and staff will be displayed for viewing and purchasing.

Every year the UGA Alumni Association and the UGA Emeriti Scholars sponsor the Founders’ Day Lecture to celebrate the University's birthday which is January 27. The lecture is held in the Chapel and has become a Founders' Day tradition, drawing alumni, students, faculty, esteemed guests and members of the community.

Homecoming BBQ

The UGA Alumni Association's homecoming BBQ is held at the Alumni Associations Historic Wray-Nicholson House the Friday evening, before the homecoming game. Enjoy Good BBQ, live music, fun and games for the kids and special guest appearances.

Keys to the Dawg House

All parents with middle and high school students interested in learning more about the University’s application process are encouraged to attend this information session. This is an opportunity to learn the "keys" to the admissions process at UGA.

Paws Across America

This is a national day of volunteerism for Georgia graduates. The goal is to get as many UGA alumni chapters as possible to participate in a community service project on the same day wearing Georgia attire. Just imagine how much good could be done in this Bulldog Nation if everyone took just one day to make a difference!

UGA Alumni Employee Breakfast

Every spring, the UGA Alumni Association pays tribute to the many UGA alums who support the fine work of the University as employees. Pins for 10, 15, 20, 25 and 30 years of service are presented.

UGA Holiday Open House

Holiday open House and Toy and Food Drive is held on the evening of the Athens Christmas parade of lights. The UGA Alumni Association collects unwrapped toys and non-perishable food items for the less fortunate children and families of Northeast Georgia during the open house.
