On Saturday, May 4 from 7:45 a.m. to noon, the Upstate SC Chapter of the UGA Alumni Association will be volunteering with the Greenville Animal Care Facility, located at 328 Furman Hall Road, Greenville SC 29609. We are in need of local alumni and friends to assist with this special project.

This year, our volunteer activity is called "The Mutt Mission.” During this project, we will help build a partition wall for the cat adoption room and a second pathway to connect the parking lot and the facility. Also, we will mulch the flower beds, and replant flowers and shrubs on the property.

All of the building materials will be provided by the shelter, but we need you and your individual tools to help with the project! Hands on Greenville (HOG) Day is a fun way to give back to our community and to meet local alumni and friends of UGA. All ages are eligible to work during this half-day event. Following the project, a free celebration for volunteers will be held at Fluor Field.
