With these awards, the Alumni Association expresses its deep appreciation and admiration to people who – through their service, contributions and accomplishments – bring distinction and honor to the University of Georgia and our state, nation and world.

This year, we are proud to present the Faculty Service Award to Gordhan Patel and the Alumni Merit Award to Jack Rooker (BBA '60) and Norman Fletcher (AB '56, JD '58). Come out to our new game watching location at the Beef O'Brady's in Temple Terrace to join alumni and friends of the Tampa Bay Chapter of the UGA Alumni Association. Cheer on the UGA men's and women's basketball teams in their home openers! The men's basketball team will be facing off against Jacksonville on November 9 at 7:00 PM. The women's basketball team will be playing Rutgers on November 11 at 2:00 PM.
