The 1st Thursday of Every Month

There are almost 2,000 UGA Bulldogs in the Midlands area. At 5:30 p.m. on the first Thursday of each month we will be gathering at the Thirsty Fellow located at 621 Gadsden St. in Columbia to share our red and black enthusiasm. Mark your calendar, bring another graduate with you and join the fun. Don’t forget your business cards!

The UGA Alumni Association is proud to present the Faculty Service and Alumni Merit awards.

With these awards, the Alumni Association expresses its deep appreciation and admiration to people who – through their service, contributions and accomplishments – bring distinction and honor to the University of Georgia and our state, nation and world.

This year, we are proud to present the Faculty Service Award to Gordhan Patel and the Alumni Merit Award to Jack Rooker (BBA '60) and Norman Fletcher (AB '56, JD '58). Alumni Leadership Assembly

Join us for a fun and informative weekend in Athens. We look forward to seeing you in 2013!

Join fellow UGA alumni and fans inside the DAWG HOUSE while you cheer for your favorite PGA TOUR players, including tournament host- Davis Love III and former bulldog standouts- Chris Kirk, Harris English, and Brian Harman, just to name a few.

The DAWG HOUSE features a premium location with views of the 8th, 16th and 17th holes, upscale food and beverages for purchase and special visits from former UGA golfers, coaches and celebrities.

The DAWG HOUSE is open Thursday through Sunday from 10:00am until completion of play. Televisions inside the tent will enable you to keep up with the action around the course, and on Saturday you can follow the Dawgs vs. Kentucky on TV while you enjoy a PGA TOUR event in person!

Price includes a $15 food and beverage voucher redeemable in the Dawg House venue.

Send the UGA Class of 2016 off to Athens in style! Rhett and Lee Perry ’76 have graciously offered to host a Freshmen Send Off cookout for incoming area UGA students and their families. All the fun starts at 7 p.m. on Thursday, July 19. Alumni will be on hand to answer questions about UGA, reminisce about their college days, and even do a Georgia cheer or two.

Come on out and celebrate the newest members of the UGA family. Don't forget to wear your red and black!
