Effective networking with social media tools like LinkedIn.com is about more than writing catchy emails or having the best profile. Even job seeking with LinkedIn requires more than searching the job postings. The average person ON LinkedIn does not USE LinkedIn, or is unsure how to make the most of it.
This session introduces lesser-utilized elements of LinkedIn that can give you a great return on your time and take your LinkedIn skills to the next level for business networking or job searching.
We recommend that you have a LinkedIn profile to attend this session. You are welcome to bring a laptop, iPad, or other personal computing device for hands-on practice during the session, though it is not required.
UGA Director of Alumni Career Services Dr. Nicole Lechene '12 will lead this seminar. Lunch will be provided. Space is limited.
