The UGA Alumni Association
Golden Isles Chapter invites you to the
GA/FL Beach Cleanup

During the Georgia/Florida football weekend each year, there is trash left behind on St. Simons Island. The Golden Isles Chapter of the UGA Alumni Association encourages you to "trash the Gators, not the beach" by inviting you to a beach cleanup day with fellow UGA alumni and friends. The chapter knows this is an important issue and would appreciate your help showing the community that Bulldogs respect the environment.

On Saturday, November 2, gather with alumni and friends at 7:30 a.m. on East Beach. The group will meet at the Coast Guard Station on St. Simons Island to begin this fun and important volunteer project. The organization Keep Brunswick-Golden Isles Beautiful will provide gloves and bags for participants.

Help show St. Simons how the Bulldogs give back. Don't miss out on this opportunity to keep the beach clean before cheering on the Dawgs.

If you are interested in volunteering or have any questions, please email Keri Anderson (BSA '01) at keanderson@southuniversity.edu.

See you there in your red and black!
