Student Spotlight: UGA Competitive Cheerleading team win Cheersport Nationals!
Founded in the Spring of 2003, the Competitive Cheerleading team at UGA is a recreational program for people who have competed before and wish to continue. The squad's season begins in December. This season the girls have won three titles. The team currently consists of 27 members and is coached by Lori Morrow '04. Throughout the year in addition to workouts and practices the team gives back to the community. Locally they spend time with Ms. Wyatt's class at Barrow Elementary and visit the cheerleading class at the YMCA. Regionally the girls have assisted the Atlanta Falcon's Youth Foundation, Kroger, Ryder Trucking, Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, and most recently the Atlanta Hawks at UGA Night.
The team raises most of its own money. This year $30,000 has been raised to help cover the cost of travel, competition entry fees, and marketing expenses. For more information, go to www.uga.edu/ugaallstars or contact Coach Morrow at (404) 213-1178.

Over 90 teams and 2000 students representing all aspects of campus participate in Relay For Life. Show the UGA Students that you are proud of their efforts and support them in this year's Relay to be held on April 15 at Spec Towns Track.
