	Trey Paris - President City: Gainesville, GA Email: trey.paris@ge.com Graduation Year/Degree: BBA 1984, MBA 1985 Career: Manager of Government Relations, General Electric Favorite UGA memory: Easy. Football weekends on campus in the Fall of 1980 during the Dawgs successful run-up to the National Championship. Not only just being part of the electric atmosphere inside Sanford Stadium during the game, but also all the good times that ensued both before and after the game, victory after victory that special season.

	Vic Sullivan City: Albany, GA Email: vic.sullivan@agedwards.com Graduation Year/Degree: BBA 1982 Career: Wachovia Securities, LLC Member SIPC Favorite UGA memory: When my roommate woke me up when we were freshman living at Hill Hall as he told me about the huge and unexpected snow during the winter of 1977. The snow was heavy and the whole school went nuts as classes were canceled and fun was had by all. Hundreds of students went into Bolton all and walked out with the trays used to carry food. They quickly became sleds as students slid down the embankment into Legion Field. After sliding and having fun for quite a while, suddenly a roar was heard as hundreds of students on the Creswell Hall side of the street mobilized and attacked the hundreds of students on the Legion Field side. A great snow ball fight ensued until each side had to reload before that familiar roar sounded again. Passing cars were pelted with snow balls, which seemed all in fun, until one car's window caved in as snow in progress continued its path into the driver's fuming face. As students skied behind cars driving down Lumpkin and massive snowmen popped up all over campus, that day surely stands out among many wonderful memories of my 4+ years in Athens.

	Tim Keadle - Treasurer City: Lilburn, GA Email: tkeadle@pkm.com Graduation Year/Degree: BBA 1978 Career: Partner - Porter Keadle Moore LLC Favorite UGA memory: In the winter of 1975 after many consecutive days of rain I was asleep in my Russell Hall 3rd floor west (Brumby Express) dorm room when at midnight the place started erupting with activity–doors slamming and people hollering, so I reluctantly got up to stick my head out of the door to see countless people covered in mud (but nothing else) running up the hall slinging mud all over the walls and carpet. I turned to my roommate Gaines Abernathy, a great American from Barnesville, GA, and exclaimed, “Gaines, get up. Everybody’s naked.” We then went outside where we encountered couples streaking, chorus lines of guys that were sometimes dressed in gym shorts and sometimes not dressed at all and hundreds of students socializing like this was a common event. We stayed out until 2 a.m., which was way outside our comfort zone and soaked it all in without participating (of course). We knew were not in Barnesville anymore.

	Brian Dill City: Cumming, GA Email: romedawgs@bellsouth.net Graduation Year/Degree: BA- Political Science 1994 Career: Vice President of Economic Development, Cumming-Forsyth County Chamber of Commerce Favorite UGA memory: My favorite UGA memory has to be as a member of the RedCoat Band. No matter where you went on campus, you always saw someone that you knew. It was definitely like being part of a big family. Best home game as a student - '91 Clemson Game on ESPN at night. The place was electric, black shakers and all!! I also met my wife on Campus in 91. We have been married 10 years this April. Go Dawgs.

	Mary Frances Early City: Decatur, GA Email: mearl@bellsouth.net Graduation Year/Degree: MMED 1962 Career: Retired - Clark Atlanta University Favorite UGA memory: My favorite memory of UGA is the surprise party given for me on my birthday–my third day on campus. It was planned and implemented by Rev. Corky King at Westminister House. We had never even met; I didn’t know him, and he didn’t know me. Nevertheless, he was kind and thoughtful enough to help me to celebrate my birthday during a very stressful time!

	Steve Jones City: Athens, GA Email: affirm@mindspring.com Graduation Year/Degree: BBA 1978, JD 1987 Career: Judge of Superior Court Favorite UGA memory: My Law School graduation. My entire family was present and I will never forget the joy of walking on the stage and hearing my name called as I received my Juris Doctor degree.

	Jeff Jowdy City: Franklin, TN Email: jeffjowdy@lighthousecounsel.com Graduation Year/Degree: ABJ 1983 Career: President, Lighthouse Counsel Favorite UGA memory: When I think back on my college days, I remember lunches at Snelling while my friends and I debated the Bulldogs' chances that season. I remember late-night fraternity parties followed by a hot breakfast at the Chase Street Café. I remember faculty role models like Phinizy Spalding and Conrad Fink who encouraged me to think critically and even grow from my mistakes. UGA was a fun and stimulating learning environment and remains an important part of my life.

You see the Rvs rolling into town, you hear the redcoat band warming up and you feel the excitement in the crisp, autumn air as students prepare for the weekend.

	Tommy Sasser City: Eatonton, GA Email: tsasser@reynoldsplantation.com Graduation Year/Degree: BS 1970 Career: Vice President of Development, Reynolds Plantation Favorite UGA memory: My favorite memories include sitting on the railroad bridge during football games; playing softball in the open field where Legion Pool is today; the friends that I made and the fact that many of us still stay in touch after 36 years. But, most of all, I remember being so proud of being part of the University. That feeling still exists today.

	Howard Williams City: Atlanta, GA Email: gapain@bellsouth.net Graduation Year/Degree: BS 1984 Career: Medical Director - Georgia Pain Specialist Favorite UGA memory: I was fortunate enough to be a freshman in 1980 when our football team won the National Championship. I remember experiencing the Sugar Bowl in New Orleans firsthand and I will treasure this memory forever. When I achieved the award of Phi Beta Kappa my senior year, my parents were present at this ceremony. Another fond memory is my active participation with intramural sports and our pre-medical football team, The Cadavers, went underfeated my senior year.

Countless parties, or should I say "social gatherings?" I guess, in the end I would say my greatest memory involves the many interesting and caring friends I made while at UGA, many of whom I still keep up with.

Favorite UGA memory: Attending men’s basketball games each winter. Although the teams weren’t particularly successful in the early 1990's, I loved having season student seats on the Coliseum floor for $18. That price even included a t-shirt!

	Boyd Austin City: Dallas, GA Email: Boyd_Austin@ugaalum.uga.edu Graduation Year/Degree: BA 1984 Career: Mayor, City of Dallas Favorite UGA memory: My favorite memories of UGA are football Saturdays in Athens—Georgia’s 1980 National Championship, Herschel Walker, “Sugar Falling From the Sky,” three Sugar Bowls, beating Texas in the Cotton Bowl 10-9, tailgating and parties at the Kappa Sigma house That’s where and when most of close, lasting friendships were formed. Go Dogs!

	Clint Austin City: Marietta, GA Email: clint@jcapublicaffairs.com Graduation Year/Degree: AB 1996 Career: JCA Public Affairs, LLC Favorite UGA memory: Sitting in my last class before I graduated. It was an old classroom with a nice view out of an old window into one of the big trees on North Campus. My professor was giving us a talk about leaving the University and leading a good life. As I listened, I watched the tree blowing, and kept thinking about the fact I was going to be the first person in my family to graduate from college. A number of people had sacrificed to help make that possible. In particular, my grandfather was in my mind that day, because he had a huge oak tree much like the one I was looking at, and he had worked very hard to help me go to college even though he had only finished the 11th grade. I kept thinking how proud he was going to be coming to Athens for my graduation. It was one of the most humbling but also proud moments of my life, and my favorite memory at UGA.

	Craig Barrs City: Lawrenceville, GA Email: wcbarrs@southernco.com Graduation Year/Degree: BBA 1980 Career: Vice President of Community and Economic Development, Georgia Power Favorite UGA memory: One of my very best memories of Athens and UGA was when as a 12 year old, I visited my brother who was then in school. It created a sense of urgency to prepare for the ultimate opportunity to attend the University of Georgia. From that point forward, I knew Athens and UGA were the only place for me. In early September, 1979, I arrived in Athens to fulfill an almost life long dream.

	Leslie Younts Brown City: Atlanta, GA Email: brownles1@aol.com Graduation Year/Degree: BSHE 1982 Career: Director of Creative Services, Cingular Wireless Favorite UGA memory: My favorite memory would have to be the entire 1980 national championship football season. School spirit and pride were high, and the excitement while the momentum was building throughout the season made for many, many happy memories. Of course... there was a lot of studying going on as well.

Favorite UGA memory: Picking a favorite UGA memory is impossible, but a few of my favorite memories include: standing in the student section to cheer on the Dawgs, walking downtown for lunch with friends between classes, attending Beta Alpha Psi meetings on Thursday evenings, working on the Georgia Law Review, and simply sitting outside on North Campus to study in the springtime.

	Cader Cox City: Camilla, GA Email: civ@riverviewplantation.com Graduation Year/Degree: BBA 2001 Career: Vice President, Riverview Plantation Favorite UGA memory: My favorite UGA memory would have to be when at least 30-40 of my best friends went down to St. Simons on a Thursday, and then to Jacksonville on Saturday to the GA/FL game in 1997. It was the first time in forever that we beat Florida, and I was there to see it with a great group of people. We just had an absolute blast. Also, just the memories of sitting on the back deck at Baxter commons grilling out and watching football on Sunday's was pretty good.

	David Dreesen City: Winterville, GA Email: dwd3455@gmail.com Graduation Year/Degree: BSA 1956, DVM 1960 Career: Executive Vice President - American College of Vet Preventative Medicine Favorite UGA memory: I guess my favorite memory would have to be sitting in Dr. Wilder’s chemistry in my Sophomore year and seeing the young lady that my friend had made me a blind date with the day before. I felt I was a lucky young man to have an upcoming date with such a beautiful gal. And, after 2 years of dating and 50 years of marriage, I still feel just as lucky. For once I found chemistry a wonderful course.

I would say that fond memories for me include: Thursday nights debating at Demosthenian Hall and enjoying the fellowship afterwards and the fact that those same Demosthenians are still friends and colleagues today. I also have fond memories of living near the coliseum and walking everywhere around Athens - great town.

	Winston Cobb Green City: Lynchburg, VA Email: wgreen@benchmark-systems.com Graduation Year/Degree: AB 1973 Career: Vice President, Benchmark Systems Favorite UGA memory: Though football games, fraternity parties, hanging out with friends are all fun memories, I think what I miss the most is walking through North Campus on my way to class. There is never another time in your life when you are surrounded by peers interested in their studies, or professors learned in their fields. The atmosphere was stimulating and rewarding. I loved being on campus, rushing to the next class or strolling with a classmate discussing what was just ignited in our minds. When I walk through North Campus today, that is what I remember and what I envy about the students now.

	Will Hatcher City: Evans, GA Email: wshatcher@augustanational.com Graduation Year/Degree: BBA 1987 Career: Augusta National Golf Club Favorite UGA memory: Debbie, I don't know if I have one favorite, but several come to mind...football weekends in the fall, annual trip to St Simons Island and Jacksonville for the Dawgs and Gators, walking UGA campus on fall day, sitting in front of Park Hall during springtime, learning and laughing in Dr. Earl Davis's classroom, playing shuffleboard at the old Downtowner Inn...I could go on and on but I'll stop at the risk of incriminating myself.

	Hoppy Hopkins City: Thomaston, GA Email: hoprcco@alltel.net Graduation Year/Degree: BLA 1972 Career: President, Reddick Construction Company, Inc. Favorite UGA memory: A landsacpe architecture project that involved a personal portable shelter that I built that ended up on the "g" at midfield of sanford stadium. It was a large white cube of styrofoam that folded, opened and expanded to create a shelter - sort of like a square igloo. My classmates moved it to the stadium one night and when I found it the redcoat band was on the football field practicing and they were marching - apparently no one questioned the legitimacy of it's being there. It stayed on the field for several days before the university removed it. I have no idea what happened to it. There was also the time that we, the seniors of the landscape architecture school, used a rubber snake to scare innocent and unsuspecting passers-by. We were alongside the the founder's garden and apparently already knew it all and did not need to be in class on that beautiful spring day! Have you ever seen a couple scared by a rubber snake and the "gentleman" push the lady toward the threatening snake and then run away in the opposite direction? We did not know ladies used such language. The best part was that the "red and black" reported that the pranksters were law students and should have known better. Finally, we were playing kentucky in baseball on an April Saturday in 1970, when the Wildcat pitcher, as he was turning away from homeplate to rub the baseball, looked out toward right field and just stopped, staring off in the distance. Both dugouts looked in that direction and soon saw what had distracted their pitcher - on the bank, beyond the right field fence, there was a couple on a blanket who, needless to say, was not watching the ball game. Coach Whatley called time, summoned the campus police and had the two removed. Everybody gave the pair quite a round of applause. I can not tell you who won the game but I will not forget how upset coach Whatley was.

	Kim Metcalf City: Douglasville, GA Email: kimmetcalf@riverbendenvironmental.com Graduation Year/Degree: BSEH 1993, MS 1996 Career: Favorite UGA memory: After spending my undergraduate and graduate school time at UGA, I have so many great memories. It was such a wonderful time in my life and as I've grown older, I continue to add to my UGA memories by staying involved with my college and visiting Athens often with my family. If I must narrow it down to a single memory, I would say graduating with the first UGA Master of Science degree in Environmental Science in the spring of 1996. The ceremony was so special with all of my family, friends and the excellent professors that were critical to my education. I was truly proud - it was a great deal of hard work and having that honor for such a wonderful institution meant so much to me. I continue to see the value of my degree each day.

	Rupa Patel City: Birmingham, AL Email: SECRoops@gmail.com Graduation Year/Degree: BSA 2005 Career: MBA, MPH student, University of Alabama at Birmingham Favorite UGA memory: It was the Move-Out Day at the end of my freshman year and I was sitting in the lobby of Boggs with some of my fellow residents right before we all turned in our keys. Just sitting there and thinking about my first year of college, all the people I had encountered and come to call my friends, and the memories that had shaped me into a new person was the most memorable moment I had as a student at UGA. The feeling that I experienced during that 30 minutes helped to put such a positive and emotional close to the first chapter of the best four years of my life. Years after that experience, I can look back and remember that memory as if it just occured. The people that I shared it with are still some of my closest friends, and the times that we looked back on are still the types of experiences that we all look forward to experiencing again.

	Julie Reynolds City: Lawrenceville, GA Email: rii@bellsouth.net Graduation Year/Degree: BSHE 1981 Career: President, Reynolds Interiors Favorite UGA memory: First was the famous Lindsay Scott/Buck Belue touchdown to win the Florida game for us in 1980. It was my Senior year and I had never gotten to go to a GA/FL game. I actually got to go to that game. The other memory is going to the Sugar Bowl game that year when we beat Notre Dame to win the National Championship. I was also fortunate enough to go to the Sugar Bowl again in 2003 when we beat Florida State!

	Diane Smock City: Greenville, SC Email: d_smock@bellsouth.net Graduation Year/Degree: BA 1974 Career: City Council Member, City of Greenville Favorite UGA memory: I witnessed seismic changes in my four years at UGA. When I was a freshman in 1970, women were required to wear "uniforms" to P.E. class-and they had to be covered by raincoats when walking across campus, so as not to be indecent! By the time of graduation in 1974, life on campus had changed forever-epitomized by the streakers regularly running in front of Memorial Hall (then the home of the student union).

	Stacy Stephens City: Atlanta, GA Email: sstephens@wcsr.com Graduation Year/Degree: BA 1992 Career: Professional Development and Recruiting Manager, Womble Carlyle Standridge & Rice Favorite UGA memory: 10/5/91 - We were unranked and beat #4 Clemson 27-12 in a night game on TV in Sanford Stadium and the Braves won the pennant for the first time. It was an electric atmosphere that night in the student section and all over Athens.

	Richard Taylor City: Kennesaw, GA Email: rtaylor@grosscollins.com Graduation Year/Degree: BBA 1973 Career: Principal/Shareholds -HLB Gross Collins PC Favorite UGA memory: The thing I remember most about UGA was how difficult and time consuming that I thought all the study and work was, however, I would not classify this as my favorite memory. I do remember the great pizza and beer parties that we had at Milledge Hall. We inherited about $4,000 of previously unspent student activity money when we started there and me and my roommate Eric, elected ourselves as President and Treasurer of the Dorm council so we had lots of parties in the two years that I was there as we spent all the money previously existing plus the new money coming in each quarter. $4,000 was a lot of money in 1972 - 1973.

	Laurie Wilder City: Suwanee, GA Email: lwilder@bpasearch.com Graduation Year/Degree: BBA 1996 Career: Vice President, Baker - Parker Favorite UGA memory: I am from a long line of bulldogs so game day in Athens was something that was always a part of my life. However, nothing was more exciting than my first Georgia game between the hedges as an official member of the “Bulldog Nation.” That first Saturday game as a student was tremendous. I will never forget the excitement of standing (the whole game) in the student section cheering on MY TEAM.
